Ozena Chase Carroll

Ozena Chase Carroll, of Sulphur Springs died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 17, 2012 at Indian Path Medical Center.

Mrs. Carroll was a Baptist and a native of the Eastern Star Community. She was the daughter of the late Elbert Earl Chase and Eileen Hawk Chase.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Carroll, brother, Donald Chase, and sister, Margie Slagle.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Stanfield; son-in-law, Jackie Stanfield; granddaughter, Melissa Misty Reed; great-grandson, Boston Earl; brothers, Jim Chase and wife, Judy, Ronnie Chase and wife, Terri; sister-in-law, Lillian Chase; several nieces and nephews; and her two special boys, Charlie and Buttercup.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Kevin Rose and
Rev. Jerry Davenport officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
