Pamela S. Simpson Castle, 53, Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Kingsport on March 22, 1960, a daughter of the late Gale and Jackie Simpson, she had lived in this area her entire life.

She was a very loving wife, mother, nana, sister and friend who loved spending time with her family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Dr.'s nurses and staff members of Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center who were involved with her care.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Gale and Jackie Simpson, her brother-in-law, David Schnepp, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jay and Kate Castle.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Mike Castle; children, Anthony Poland and wife, Sandra of Blountville, Angel Waller and husband, Joey, Mike Fisher and fiancée, Nachole Lane, and Bill Fisher, all of Kingsport; ten grandchildren; sister, Donna Norwood and husband, Billy of Live Oak, FL; brothers, Tommy Simpson and wife, Debbie of Blountville, Greg Simpson and wife, Mary of Kingsport, Chris Simpson of Kingsport, and Scott Simpson and wife, Jennifer of Fall Branch; brother-in-law, Junior and Stephanie Castle of Kingsport; numerous nieces and nephews; and pet, Colby.

The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm on Thursday at New Harvest Fellowship Church and at other hours at the residence of Greg and Mary Simpson, 3224 Capri Street, Kingsport.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at New Harvest Fellowship Church with Dr. T.K. Simpson, senior pastor, and Pastor Larry Anderson officiating. Special music will be provided by Brenda Braswell and Tommy Simpson.

Burial will follow the funeral service in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Simpson, Cody Simpson, James Simpson, Nick Metcalf, Joey Waller, Dave Bishop and Little Dave Bishop. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Huffman, George Simpson and Steve Simpson.
