Pamela Gay Hewitt

Pam Hewitt, 69, Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in San Francisco, CA and grew up in Bronxville, NY. Pam had resided in Kingsport, having lived at the Remington House since 2002. She was a lifelong New York Mets fan. Pam enjoyed traveling to destinations such as South Africa and various South American Countries. Also, Pam had visited most of the states including Hawaii. Life was full of many challenges for Pam, but she met them with optimism and cheerfulness. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Cooks Hewitt.

Pam is survived by her sister, Tina Morrison and husband, Ian of Blountville, and two nephews, Mike Morrison of Washington DC and Jeff Morrison of Memphis, TN.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, December 23rd at 3:30 pm Remington House with John Hodge officiating.
