Pamela S. Minor-Wampler

Pamela S. Minor-Wampler, 72, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at her home in Kingsport, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Norton, VA, a 1970 graduate of John I. Burton High School, and 1974 graduate of UVA Wise, then Clinch Valley College. Pamela was a born-again Christian, a woman of strong faith, and a member of First Baptist Church. She was a partner in OEC Systems in Kingsport. In addition to being an astute businesswoman, Pamela enjoyed gardening, bunka embroidery, sports, especially TN Lady Vols, and family get togethers.

Pamela was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Orbin Wade Wampler, Jr.; parents, John Palmer Minor and Laura A. Minor; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Orbin Wampler, Sr. and Mary J. Wampler. 

Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Ann Minor; brother-in-law, Andrew Wampler; sisters-in-law, Eppie Fudge, Jackie Taylor and Lorraine Handley; several nieces and nephews; and her precious dog, Bella.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am with Pastor Ryan Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA.
