Pamela L. Parker

Pamela L. Parker, 54, of Bristol, TN, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Baltimore, MD on May 4, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Albert Lloyd and Nell Rose Morelock Lawson. She lived in this area most of her life.

Pamela was employed for over thirty years with UETHDA as a CSBG Administrative Assistant. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mommy, sis, and friend who was dedicated to her daughter and work. She loved everyone and will be sadly missed by all.

Surviving is her daughter, Derica Parker, Bristol, TN; stepson Lee Parker, Blountville, TN; two brothers, Jerry Lawson and Mike Lawson, Kingsport, TN.

Calling hours are 2-4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport and at other hours at the residence of her brother.

Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Morris Baker officiating.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
