Pansy Elizabeth Frost

Pansy Elizabeth Frost, 83 of Kingsport went to Heaven to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born in Bath County, VA and moved to Rogersville, TN then to Kingsport where she resided for 65 years. Pansy was a former employee of Kingsport Laundry. She was of Baptist faith and was an avid wrestling fan.

Pansy was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Roshell Frost; son Douglas Frost; two infant daughters; father Orville Salyers; mother Easter Salyers Barrett; stepfather Smith Barrett; sister Gracie Salyers; brother William "Bill" Salyers and sister in law Mary of Kokomo, IN.

Survivors include her daughter Judy Powers of Kingsport; daughter in law Brenda Frost of Kingsport; four grandchildren, Tabitha Hart and David Johnson, April Johnson and husband, Will, Kenny Powers and Jeannie Southerland, Steve Powers and wife, Amy; four great granddaughters; three great grandsons; one great-great granddaughter; brother Sherman Salyers and wife Joyce of Pendergrass, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Rogersville, TN with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:45 p.m.
