Patricia Ann Chase, 71, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. Patricia was born on November 11, 1952, in Church Hill, TN and resided in Kingsport for most of her life. She worked as a secretary and administrative assistant in healthcare until her retirement. Patricia was lovingly known as a wife, mother, daughter, aunt, mother-in-law and friend to many. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her beloved family. She especially loved being “Gammie” to her only grandson, Oliver.
In addition to her parents, James and Jeanetta Kincer, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul James Kincer and brother-in-law, Tommy Copas.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 39 years, Gary Chase; two sons and daughter-in-law, Dakota and Kathy Chase and Tyler Chase; one very special grandson, Oliver Chase; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Nora Kincer of Surgoinsville, TN and Ronnie and Jackie Kincer of Cumming, GA; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and James Eaton of Mount Carmel, TN; sister-in-law, Carolyn Copas and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park 2630 TN-75 Blountville, TN 37617. A memorial service officiated by Pastor Truman Ferguson will follow at 2:00pm. Inurnment will follow the service in the Garden of Solomon.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of the 2700 wing ICU at Johnson City Medical Center for their support and care of Patricia.
