Patricia Ann Martin

Patricia Ann Martin passed away on December 14, 2018 following a brief illness. Born on June 4 in 1937, she was raised in Knoxville, TN, and spent most of her adult life in Kingsport, TN.

She will be remembered by her family, whom she loved dearly, and who loved her deeply in return. Her spirit was one of passion, kindness, and adventure. She lived fully and resiliently, and is best celebrated with openness and humor.

Patricia enjoyed travel, flowers, and sweets--particularly ice cream--and sharing all of these with her family. She especially cherished time spent with her four great-grandchildren, Adyson, Wendell, Haley, and Nathan Ferrell, and her beloved dog and companion, Missy.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jack Ray Martin. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Wendell Keeling; and her grandchildren, Kari Keeling, Charles Smith, and Brook and Kenny Ferrell.

The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Downtown. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Kris Vannice officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mary Smith, BB Alley, and Donna Weills for their exceptional friendship and aid during this time.
