Patricia "Pat" Carpenter

Patricia "Pat" Carpenter, 63, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 15, 2010. She was a devout Christian and a terrific mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She was a member of the Colonial Heights Eagles Club Women's Auxiliary.

Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by her father, John A. "Jack" Lowe; grandmother, Lillie "Mommy" Wyatt; and first husband, Wayne Morelock.

She is survived by a daughter, Ronda Goode and husband Jimmy of Kingsport; grandson, Hunter Williams and wife Christy of Kingsport; mother, Betty Lowe of Kingsport; a brother; special pet, Kaycee; special friends, Barbara Flanary, Joy, Linda, Tammy, and Judy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, with Rev. Duane Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dale Gillam, Ralph Barrett, Dwight Goode, Jeff Goode, Christopher Goode, Zachary Goode, and Tony Catron. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Peacemakers M.C.
