Patricia A. Hamilton, 75, of 2516 Westmoreland Avenue, Kingsport, died at Indian Path Hospital on Saturday, July 2.
Born in Sullivan County, Pat had lived in Kingsport all of her life. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and a friend to all. She was a wonderful, loving and kind person to everyone.
Retired from Holston Valley Hospital after 43 years of service, she was a cashier in the Dietary Department. She loved staying home with her loving husband, Harold, who faithfully cared for her himself until death. She loved her little dog Coco, he brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Rowland and mother, Beulah; first husband, Paul Goins; and brother, Ed Rowland.
Survivors include her loving husband of 12 years, Harold Hamilton; sisters, Nancy Harkleroad of Kingsport, Ruby Cody of Kingsport, Dorothy Conley and husband, J. D.; step-children, Russ Hamilton, Lisa Dauphine and husband, Tim; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Randy, Tracie, Kim, Roger, Dan, Mark, Gary, Bill, David and Mike; step-grandchildren, Ben, Abby, and Haley; and Elizabeth Boggs, her loving caregiver, who cared for her and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, Tuesday, July 5, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at East Lawn Memorial Park, with Pastor J. W. Depew officiating.
