Patricia Ann Hensley

Patricia Ann Hensley, 65, of Kingsport, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 11th, after a long illness. She was born April 8, 1949. Patricia graduated from Sullivan High School in 1967 and worked at Eastman Chemical Company for 39 years. She was a member of Sullivan Baptist Church, where she taught the 3 and 4 year old Sunday School class.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Andrew and Betty Gene Way, and a nephew, Michael Anthony Way.

Survivors include her son, Jamie Hensley; her grandchildren, Michael and Abby Hensley; two brothers, Terry Way and wife, Cathy, and Kenny Way and wife, Doris; two sisters, Melissa Russell, and Sara Hodges and husband, Roger; nephews, Bryan Way, Jason Russell and wife, Heather; and nieces, Erin and Emily Hodges.

The family will receive friends at Sullivan Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 14th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Strong officiating.

The graveside service will be Thursday, May 15th, at 3:00 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sullivan Baptist Church Building Fund c/o Sullivan Baptist Church/4152 Maplewood St./Kingsport, TN 37660.
