Patsy Booker

Patsy Booker, 85, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on April 7th, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Scott County, VA, and having resided most of her life in Kingsport, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. Patsy loved spring, the sunshine, and taking care of her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Josie Ketron; a son, Robert Booker; three sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Virgil Booker; five children, Sue Mendenhall of Kingsport, Carolyn Martin & husband Mike of Kingsport, Connie Robertson & husband Bobby of Gray, Lloyd Booker& wife Carolyn of Church Hill, and Jerry Booker & wife Christine of Kingsport; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; a sister, Nancy Kinnard of Gray; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday April 9th, 2012 at Gospel Mission Church 7469 Lone Star Road. Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. at the church with Rev Rick Willis officiating.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Depews Chapel Church Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
