Patsy Mowell

Patsy Ann Eaton Mowell, 70, Kingsport, was called home late Monday, August 13th at Wexford House. Patsy was born in Hawkins County and resided in Kingsport since the age of 18. She was of the Baptist faith. Patsy was an avid western movie fan and enjoyed caring for her two yorkies, Lexi and Roxi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Mowell on August 2, 2010; sisters, Emojean Carter, Nellie Roberts and Ollie M. Hall; brothers, Guy Rex Sherill Eaton, W.C. Eaton and Herbert Eaton.

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Ann Egan and husband, Scott of Kingsport; four sisters, Georgia Barton of Surgoinsville, Mary Alice Long of Morristown, Kathleen Gardner of Kingsport and Cornie Price of Blountville; three brothers, Herman Eaton of Kingsport, James Eaton of Mt. Carmel and Larry Edward Eaton of Church Hill; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 15th from 5-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:15 pm with Pastor Brian Schuler officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, August 16th at 11:00 am Lovelace Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Guy Marion Eaton, Grant Templeton, Luke Templeton, Jerry Hall, Alan Hall and Jesse Egan.
