Patsy Joann Webb, 71, Kingsport, died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Indian Path Medical Center.
Born in Russell County, Virginia, on May 5, 1936, she was a 1954 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and also a graduate of Whitney School of Business. Joann retired from Warriors Path Golf Course after 25 years of service.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Edith and Harvey T. Fuller; her maternal grandparents,
F. M. and Lilly Lambert; a special aunt, Hattie Sue Jones; and several cousins.
Surviving are a son, Stephen Cochran, Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Lucy Hendrix Rock, Roanoke, VA, Bette Beg Wright, Radford, VA, Phyllis Franklin, Concord, VA, Joyce Dudley, Kingsport; one very dear and special friend of 57 years, Betty Jo Shelley Gilliam, Kingsport; and two special puppies, Savannah and Gracie.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Byrd officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
