Paul Barteck

Paul Barteck, 71, of Fall Branch went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he had resided in Fall Branch for the past four years. Paul was a 20 year veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and his master's degree from Boston University. Paul worked for IBM and Lockheed Missiles and Space. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Following his retirement he worked at Harbour School in Baltimore, MD with children who had learning disabilities.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Carole Barteck; two daughters Karen Loman and fiancée Dennis Caniford and Brenda Barteck; son, James Barteck and wife Katherine; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, 5-7:00pm, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. A memorial service will follow at 7:00pm with Father William Oruko officiating.
