Paul E. Kimbler, 56, Piney Flats, TN, died on Thursday, August 28, 2008, after fighting a courageous battle of cancer.
Paul loved spending time with his loved ones and friends. He enjoyed boating on the lake and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Monroe Kimbler; mother, Garnet Kimbler; and brothers, Rev. John Kimbler, Roy Kimbler, and infant brother, Franklin Kimbler.
Surviving are his wife, Jan Kimbler of the home; granddaughter, Nicole of the home; stepmother, Virginia Kimbler of Ohio; two sons, Paul Mike Kimbler and wife Ashley, Steven Kimbler and wife Kayla, all of Kingsport; two other grandchildren, Emma Kate and Landyn Kimbler; two stepdaughters, Tina Littleton and husband Dustin of Church Hill, and Summer Woods of Dunlap, TN; four step-grandchildren, Kaden, Kiley, Jayden, and Courtney; two sisters, Evelyn Beard and husband Rev. Wayne Beard and Marilyn Robertson and husband Pastor Chuck Robertson, all of Ohio; one brother, Glen Kimbler and wife Brenda of Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Jenny Kimbler and Margie Kimbler, both of Ohio; several special nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends, including Asten Johnson East 3 Business Team and employees of Domtar Paper Company.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Marlin S. Jaynes, Jr. officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 Monday at Ross Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bo Hamilton, Ed Litteral, Vincent Driggers, Jimmy Evans, Ron Youngsman, Larry Daniel, and Wayne Renrick.
