Paula Fay Roller Shaffer, 51, of Blountville went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Thursday, May 22, 2008.
She was a member of Deck Valley Independent Baptist Church, was an avid deer watcher, and a fan of the Colts and Rusty Wallace.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Paul Ray Roller.
Surviving are her husband, Sam Shaffer of Bristol, VA; a daughter, Tracy Fleming and husband Brian of Kingsport; a son, Bradley McClain and a stepdaughter, Katona Barger, both of Blountville; four grandchildren, Jessica, Blayze, Tori, and Hollyanna; parents, Paul and Senia Roller; two sisters, Dottie Shaffer and husband Gary, Doris Poe and husband Darrel; one brother, Kenneth Roller and wife Brandie, all of Blountville; special friend, Sandy Myers; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends any time at the home of her parents on Droke Lane in Blountville and from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Larry E. Bales and Brother Randall Roller officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Shaffer, Chris Blair, Jason Blair, Cody Shaffer, Josh Roller, Shannon Snapp, and Jamie McMurray.
