Pauline B. Chase, 90, of Kingsport passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Greystone Healthcare. She was born September 15, 1923 and was a member of Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church where she was in attendance for many years. Pauline was a very loving and caring person who loved her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Bowser and Fronia Morelock Bowser; brothers, Roy Bowser and wife, Margie, Glen Bowser and wife, Ivalee; husband Burl T. Chase; infant son Jimmy Wayne Chase; grandchildren Jeff Copas and Tina Copas Estep.
She is survived by her son Gary Chase and wife, Pat; daughter Carolyn Chase Copas and husband, Tommy; sister Emma Hale; grandchildren Dakota Chase and wife, Kathy, Tyler Chase; niece Kathy Bowser Rochester, nephew Butch Bowser and special close friend of 18 years Sam Berry.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Monday August 4th at Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Kevin Rose officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
A very special thank you goes out to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff on the 2nd floor at Greystone Healthcare, along with the Caris Hospice Staff.
