Pauline D. Collins

Pauline D. Collins, 82, of Kingsport, died Friday, March 28, 2014 after a recent illness.

When Pauline was in good health, she loved to garden. She was a loving person who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Collins; son, James Peter (Jim) Collins; brothers; Bill Darter and wife Willidean, and Hiram Darter; sister, Virginia Barber and husband Arthur; brothers-in-law, Robert Fields, Cecil Fletcher and Pat Haynes.

She is survived by her children Michael (Mike) Collins and wife Renae of Holly Springs, N.C., Norman W. Collins and wife Miki of San Antonio, TX, Jeanie Musson and husband, Roger of Kingsport; sisters, Mary Fields and husband Tommy, Liz Fields, and Catherine Haynes; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Darter and Susie Hyder and husband, Ray; daughter-in-law, Debbie Collins; grandchildren, Adam Collins and wife Devan, Kara Collins, Sean Collins, Lisa Flores and husband Gene, Dottie Collins, and David Collins; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with
Rev. Wayne Baker officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Fields Family Cemetery located in Scott County, VA.
