Pauline Harkleroad Olinger
Pauline Harkleroad Olinger, 88, of the Arcadia Community, Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Indian Path Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Margaret and John Vernon Harkleroad, Sr.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Linzie Olinger in 1995; brothers, Sam and John Vernon, Jr.; and sister, Marie Johnson McCrary.
Pauline is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Olinger and Mary, Henry Olinger and Martha, and Kenneth Olinger and Sandra; three grandchildren, Rhonda Nuckels and husband, Shannon, April Galliher, and Travis Olinger and wife, Natasha; four great-grandchildren, Cody and Grace Galliher, and Canaan and Berkeley Olinger; sister, Betty McGrady; brother, Bill Harkleroad; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff and management of Preston Place II Assisted Living for their wonderful care during the past five years.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Browder officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
