Pauline M. Peters, 62, of Lone Star Road, entered into eternal rest at Indian Path Medical Center on September 20, 2009. She was a member of Solomon's Temple Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillie Mullins.
Surviving are two daughters, Rochelle Manis and husband Mark and Jennifer Cook, all of Kingsport; one son, Jonathan Peters of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Jessica and Zackary Manis, Christian Kendrick, and Jacob Peters; two sisters, Betty Sellers and husband Jack of Church Hill and Zella Crawford and husband Hubert of Kingsport; and one brother, James Mullins and wife Shirley of Raleigh, NC; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Ruby Light.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, in the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Mullins Cemetery.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
