Pauline Beatrice Cline Waggoner, Kingsport died on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Brookhaven Manor. She was born in Peoria, Illinois and traveled with her family to Kingsport by covered wagon as a small child. It took them 6 weeks to get to the area. She lived most of her life in Illinois and moved back to Kingsport in 1994. Pauline attended Temple Baptist Church. She enjoyed get togethers and spending time with her sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tolbert and Beatrice Cline; her first husband, James Orville Cox; her second husband, Jim Waggoner; three sisters, Wilma Harris, Hazel Adams and Mildred Rush; two brothers, Cecil Cline and Virgil Cline; son, James Richard Cox; and grandson, Richard Cox.

Pauline is survived by two sons, Eddie Cox and wife, Diane of Floral City, FL, and David Cox of Kingsport; step-son, Gary Waggoner of Gailsburg, IL; five grandchildren, Kerry Cox of Missouri, Kimberly West of Moran, IL, Curtis Cox of Mammoth, IL, Michelle Kilgore of St. Paul, NC, and Christopher Cox of Chicago, IL; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special nieces, Trula Cox and Carol Ann Barnes.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26th from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 27th at 11:00 am at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Brian Schuler and Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.

Burial will follow at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
