Peggy Ann Boyd

Peggy Ann Boyd, 80, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016. She was born and raised in Yuma, VA, and attended Cleveland High School.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Pete Kinsler.

Peggy is survived by her husband, George H. Boyd; three sons, Butch Rhoton and wife, Becky, Skip Rhoton and wife, Terry, and Howard Hamilton and fiancé, Chandria; daughter, Laura Lee Hamilton; two grandsons, Tyler Rhoton and Max Rhoton; nephew Vincent Kinsler; niece, Karen Timmons; great-niece, Lize "Margo" Kinsler; great-nephew, Preston Kinsler; sister-in-law, Betty Kinsler; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson, Downtown, on Thursday, from 1:00-1:30 p.m. Followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Danny Sykes officiating.

Pallbearers will be Butch Rhoton, Skip Rhoton, Howard Hamilton, Laura Hamilton, Tyler Rhoton, and Preston Kinsler.
