Peggy Calhoun

Peggy Calhoun, 63, Church Hill, TN, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly early Thursday morning, February 27, 2020 at her home.  Peggy was born in Kingsport and resided here and in Church Hill her entire life.  She was a graduate of Church Hill High School and attended Bloomingdale Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Calhoun of the home; sons, Daryl Doran and wife, Angel, and C.J. Calhoun and wife, Kim; 6 grandchildren, Lexy, Mallory, Colin, Terrilynn, Bryce and Vaeda; 2 sisters, Sue Johnson and husband, Gary, and Teresa Taylor and husband, Terry; brother, Donnie Kerns; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 pm on Sunday March 1, 2020 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Phil Whittemore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Calhoun Family Cemetery.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
