Peggy Mitchell Daniel

Peggy Mitchell Daniel, 76, of Fall Branch, left for her heavenly home Wednesday, September 18, 2013 following a brief illness.

She was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. Peggy spent her life taking joy in being an instructional aide to the children in the Washington County School System and caring for her family, friends and neighbors.

Her parents, J. D. and Irene Mitchell preceded her in death.

Peggy is survived by son, Dr. John Daniel of Gray; daughter, Kim Carberry and husband Gary of Jonesborough; four grandchildren, Cody Carberry, Chelsea Daniel, Jonathan Daniel, and Megan Daniel; three sisters, Martha McCray and husband Vernon of Kingsport, Karen Setser and husband Jackie of Greeneville, Jody Mitchell of Kingsport; brother, Duane Mitchell and wife DeAnne of Fall Branch; and niece, Laura Shields and husband Scott of North Carolina.

The family would like to thank her caregivers, Louise Carberry, Angie Musick and the caring staff of Wellington Place, Colonial Heights.

The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson. Services will be held at 8 p.m. with Rev. Harold Morelock officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bacon-Kinchloe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dr. John Daniel, Jonathan Daniel, John T. Brown, John W. Brown, Duane Mitchell, and Cody Carberry.
