Peggy Jo Fogle

Peggy Jo Fogle, 86, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord  on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Kingsport where she resided all of her life, Peggy Jo was a 1950 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. She was an avid Volunteers fan, bridge player, loved dancing and traveling.  Peggy Jo was a member of Christ Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Nettie B. Boyer, and sister, Margie Begley.

Peggy Jo is survived by her husband of 66 years, Buster “FaFa” Fogle of the home; daughter, Karen Dunkin and husband, Ray of Kingsport; son, Scott Fogle and wife, Pamela of Kingsport; grandson, Trey Alvis and wife, Jessica; step-grandson, Raymond Dunkin and wife, Whitney; great-grandson, Cole Alvis; 2 step-great-grandchildren, Polly and Mick Dunkin; sisters, Helen Mazzeo of Huntingdon, TN, and Wanda McCord of Paris, TN; and several special nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Christ Fellowship Church with Pastor Derek Harden and Joe Mason officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
