Phil S. Hartgrove, 58, Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 6, 2006, following a lengthy illness.
He was a loving husband, father, and a wonderful friend to all who knew him.
His parents, Hugh and Sally Hartgrove and son, Kurtis Hartgrove preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Wilma Hartgrove, three daughters, Debbie Hartgrove, Missy Hartgrove, and Maxine Wells, one son, John Hartgrove and wife Sarah; all of Kingsport, TN; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Pete Barbour officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mark Necessary, Johnny Neff, Chuckey Franklin, Jason Hartgrove, Ricky Necessary, and Leon Gibson.
Honorary pallbearer and special friend is Charles Necessary.
