Phillip Clark

Phillip Clark, 83, of Jonesborough, TN, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010, after a brief illness. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater and retired from AFG in Kingsport. It was Phillip's final wish to have his body donated to the Quillen-Dishner College of Medicine.

Phillip is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy McDavid Clark and his parents, Margaret and Thomas Clark.

He is survived by his daughter, Delores Griffith and husband Bill of Bowling Green, VA; sons, Anthony "Tony" Clark of Kingsport, TN, and Tommy Clark and wife Karen of Fall Branch, TN; three grandchildren, Joe Grills and wife Lisa of Kingsport, TN, Tori Clark of Fall Branch, TN, and Aileen Twiggs of Lenoir City, TN; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Grills of Kingsport, TN; and one brother Gary Clark of Kingsport, TN.

The family will receive friends Monday December 20, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.
