Phillip E. Mann

Phil E. Mann, 67, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2015.

Born and raised in Kingsport, TN, he retired from Local 538 Steam and Pipefitters Union and the last twenty years owned his own business selling knives to dealers and distributors across the country.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Mann and Dorothy Davis Mann.

He is survived by his wife, Jan L. Mann; goddaughter, Dianna Hodge; great-godchildren, Emily and Jessica Hensley and Katelynn Hodge; sisters, Mary Nell Franks and husband, Dann, and daughter, Jennifer Gilley Close, and Judy Milligan and daughter, Karen; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

The family will celebrate Phil's life with a visitation from 3 to 5 pm on Thursday at Grace Fellowship Church. The funeral service will follow at 5 pm with Pastor Joel Owen officiating.
