Phyllis Ann Hartsock

Phyllis Ann Hartsock, 69, went home to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 at Orchard View Nursing Home. She was born in Kingsport on February 24th, 1952 to parents, Mack Joe and Nancy Haynes Oliver Franklin and resided most of her life in the Fall Branch area. Phyllis was most of all a person of great faith, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sibling and friend. She was a fierce protector of her brothers whom she loved very dearly and had a love for all animals. She lived her life serving her Lord, spreading his word and keeping him close in her heart. She will be missed by all who knew her and if she had one last request it would be for everyone to not be sad in her passing but to rejoice because she's finally home.

Along with her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Nancy Franklin, Timmy Franklin; and sister, Faye Light.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda and her husband, Steven Jarrett; her son, Joseph Hartsock; her 4 grandchildren, Arianna Campbell, Kallie Bloomer, AJ Hartsock and Marcus Jarrett; her siblings, Tommy (Sherry) Franklin, Allen (Sue) Franklin, Authur Franklin, Johnny (Bridgette) Franklin, James (Carolyn) Franklin, and Steve (Christi) Franklin; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch, on March 18th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with services following, officiated by Rev. Johnny Persinger. Music will be provided by her son-in-law, Steven.

The graveside service will be held on Friday March 19th, at 11 am at the Fall Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her son and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Everyone planning to attend is encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
