Phyllis Kilday Rector

Phyllis Kilday Rector, 82, Kingsport, TN passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at her home following an extended illness.
She was born in Greene County, TN and resided in Kingsport most of her life.
Phyllis was a member of Sullivan Baptist Church.
Her parents Luke and Elizabeth Kilday and her husband Dale Rector preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter Teresa (Teri) Jarrell and husband Bert of Kingsport, TN; son Rickey Rector and wife Emily of Bremen, GA; four grandchildren, Jeremy Jarrell, Lindsey Jarrell, Jason Elliott, and Jesse Rector; six great-grandchildren including her special little caregiver, Emma Ingle.
Calling hours are 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Strong officiating.
