Phyllis Jean Lemmons, 63, of Kingsport was called home Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Indian Path Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Sullivan County and retired from Charter Communications in 2005 with over 20 years of service.
Mrs. Lemmons was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Juanita Lady Morse; two brothers, Ernest Morse and Don Morse; and stepson, Dwight Lemmons.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Ray Lemmons, Kingsport; one daughter, Sheila Jackson and husband, David ?D.J.?, Kingsport; two stepdaughters, Judy Faust and husband, Terry, Hiltons, VA; and Linda Baggett and husband, Craig, Castleberry, Alabama; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kay Morse, Greenville, SC, Brenda Vicars, Kingsport, and Margaret Roller and husband, Fred, Kingsport; three brothers, John Morse and wife, Holly, Kingsport; Paul Morse and wife, Joyce, Morristown, TN; and Randy Morse, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Myles Morse, Ernie Morse II, Jason Morse, Jonathan Morse, Terry Faust, David ?D.J.? Jackson, and Charlie Phillips II.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Phillips, Derek Houser, Michael Roller, and Travis Roller.
