Phyllis L. Morelock
Phyllis L. Morelock, 46, Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord at 9:00 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2007, at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Pennsylvania and had resided in Rockford, Illinois, before coming to Kingsport in 1979.
Phyllis was a member of Pineview Freewill Baptist Church.
Her brother, Terry Jake Morelock preceded her in death in 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Caleb Rhine and Austin Rhine, both of the home; her parents, Jack and Christine Morelock, Kingsport; one brother, Dennis Tester, Mountain City, TN; and many friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. J. B. Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
