Phyllis Jean Sarber Seymour, 58, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 21, 2008, at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Kingsport where she was a lifelong resident. Phyllis was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Connie Guy; and her parents Nola Mae Sarber and Charles Sarber.
Surviving are two sons, Derek Seymour and special daughter-in-law Jennifer Seymour and Darius Seymour, both of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Katie Seymour, Logan Ireson, and Lily Frazier; and two nephews, Terry Guy and Barry Guy.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Owens officiating.
Pallbearers are Derek Seymour, Darius Seymour, Chad Frazier, Jamie Goins, Kenny Simpson, and Josh Hammonds.
