Priscilla Bowman, 70, of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, October 29, 2019 at her residence.
Born in Saltville, VA on January 8, 1949, a daughter of the late Earl and Reba Blevins Barrett, she had resided in this area for the last 50 years.
Priscilla graduated from Saltville High School in 1968, married Donald Bowman in October 1969 in North Carolina. Priscilla was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mom, nana, mother-in-law, sister and friend who loved her flowers, animal and cross stitching.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Daisy Barrett; nephew Brian Barrett; sister-in-law, Dreama Barrett; and brother-in-law, Roger Bowman.
Priscilla is survived by her husband, Donald R. Bowman of the home; two daughters, Angela Miles and husband, Anthony of Kingsport, and Trenna Bowman-Embry and husband, Benjamin of Rogersville; three grandchildren, Logan, Emily and Corban; sister, Bonnie McElraft and husband Mike of Lake Charles, Louisiana; brother, Mike Barrett of Saltville, VA; sister-in-law and special friend, Emma Lou Bowman; nephew, George; and two nieces, Jodie and Becky.
