Ralph Lee Hagy, 82, of Church Hill died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
He was born July 11, 1930, in Cleveland, VA.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Ruby Hagy; his parents John and Gladys Hagy; his daughter Janet Hagy-Smith; and son-in-law Gary Smith.
He is survived by his two sons, Brent Hagy and wife, Marlene of Church Hill, Sammie Hagy and wife, Dinah of Clintwood, VA; four grandchildren, Curtis Hagy, J.R. Hagy, David Smith, and Randa Hagy; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl Hagy; one sister, Mary Alexandria; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon on Thursday at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carmel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral arrangements.
