Ralph Lawson
Ralph Lawson, 81, of Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, October 2, at his home. He was retired from the Mead Corporation and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lawson; daughter, Susan Lawson; his parents; and three brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Blaser and husband, Jim of Bristol, VA; son, Mike Lawson of Kingsport; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 3, at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Brian Schuler officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, at East Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Margaret B. Mitchell Spay & Neuter Clinic, 16222 Lee Hwy, Bristol, VA 24202.
