Randall "Shine" Nunley

Randall "Shine" Nunley, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 28, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Shine was a devoted husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed riding his bike, fishing, hunting, and gardening. Shine was a precious soul who was loved by all. He loved to laugh and spend time with his family, and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma Jeannette Yonce and Howard Lawton Nunley; step-father, Robert Yonce; brother, Donald Ray Nunley; and great-grandson, Memphis Manuel Cummings.

Shine is survived by his wife of 36 years, J. Diane Nunley; daughter, Jessica Lauramoore and husband, Joseph D.; step-daughters, Alicia Diane Howard, Kathryn Marie Turner and husband, Michael; step-son, Ronald Alan Scalf; sisters, Marilyn Anita Weston, Lisa Susan Martin, and Janet Lynn Sifford and husband Bill Dale; brothers, Howard Wayne Nunley and wife, Diane, and Mark Kevin Nunley; seven grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Donnie Humphrey and Pastor Lewy Cornett officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Logans Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Gross, Ronnie Scalf, Eric Hite, Roger Nunley, Shane Spaller, and Joseph Lauramoore. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Trivette.
