Randy Brown, 55, of Knoxville, TN, passed away January 4, 2010. He was born in Johnson City and raised in Kingsport. He was a 1977 graduate of ETSU, and he was employed at Builders First Source in Knoxville, TN. He loved coaching football, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents Robert Elmo Brown and Virginia Deakins Brown.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Nancy Brown, of Knoxville; a daughter, Rachel Erin Brown; a son, Jacob Jake Emory Brown; a brother, Timothy Robert Brown, of Kingsport; and other extended family.
The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, on Saturday from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. J. W. Depew officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Jericho Shriners at 1100 Jericho Drive, Kingsport, TN 37663.
