Rass "Page" Crawford

Mr. Rass "Page" Crawford, 87, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at his home. A native of Kingsport, he was the son of the late Author and Mattie Pullman Crawford. Page loved watching Pawn Stars and NASCAR with Jimmy Johnson being his favorite driver. He retired from Sullivan County Highway Department after many years of service. He never met a stranger and will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to his parents, Page was preceded in death by his five sisters, Edith Byington, Hallie Light, Martha Light, and Nell and Stella Crawford, and six brothers, Kermit, J.C., Earl, Charles, Howard and Ralph Crawford.

He is survived by his caregivers, Ruby Light and son Anthony of the home, and his two sisters, Irene Ramey and Nora Bell Morelock, both of Indianapolis, Indiana.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Hamlett-Dobson Fall Branch, and at other hours at his home.

The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Hamlett-Dobson Fall Branch with Pastor Pete Smith officiating.

The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Light Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joey Brewer, Greg Brewer, Scott Main, Anthony Light, Doug Crawford, Tim Fletcher, Paul Crawford and Wayne Crawford; Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Testerman, Lynn Light, Junior Conkin, Bob Roberts, Sam Crawford, Lonnie Dykes and Duane Crawford.
