Raymond E. England

Raymond E. England, 66, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Sullivan County, where he resided all of his life, Raymond was a 1964 graduate of Lynn View High School. He retired from Tennessee Eastman in 1998 after 35 years of service. Raymond was a member of Bible Way Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, studying and teaching the bible.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Worley and Zetta England; and daughter, Elizabeth Kay England.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Karen England of the home; daughter, Tammy England of Kingsport; son, Tim England and wife, Amy of Kingsport; step-son, David Derrick of Kingsport; five grandchildren, Jennifer "Nikki" Lee, Kayla England, Brittany England, Zackary England and Gabriel England; step-grandson, David J. Derrick; and special friends, John and Carolyn Browder.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 28th from 6-8:00 pm at Bible Way Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with Pastor Travis Boling and John Dockery officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, 11:00 am in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
