Raymond Ferguson

Raymond A. "Tanker" Ferguson, 65, Kingsport, died Tuesday afternoon, April 3rd, at Brookhaven Manor following an extended illness. Tanker was born in Kingsport where he had resided his entire life. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a NASCAR racing fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Paul and Fred; and sister, Fannie Jane.

Tanker is survived by his stepdaughter, Mrs. Debbie Buchanan and husband, Randy of Kingsport; stepsons, Chad Begley and Marty Begley, both of Kingsport; daughter, Melissa; two granddaughters; two sisters, Marie Brickey and Geraldine Brickey, both of Kingsport; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Special thanks to Edith and Donnie for their help and care of Tanker.

It was Tanker's wish to be cremated with no services.
