Raymond Sherfey
Raymond Sherfey, 60, of Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at his home. He was retired from the Kingsport Foundry.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Charley "Shag" and Lenora Sherfey; three brothers, John, Everette and Dennis Sherfey; and two sisters, Alice Neice and Evelyn Holland.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Rosella Sherfey; three sons, David Sherfey and wife, Norene, Darrin Sherfey, Roger Sherfey; five grandchildren, Shawnee, Nathaniel, Levi, Tim and Keith along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 10 am on Friday with Rev. Eddie McAmis and Rev. Charlie Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
