Raymond Stephenson
Raymond Stephenson, of Kingsport, died on Sunday, May 13th, 2007, at Indian Path Hospital. He was born in Gate City, VA, and came to Kingsport at an early age, where he has resided most of his life. He retired from the Freels Drug Organization after 45 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Monnie Stephenson; a brother, Jay Stephenson; and a sister, Margaret Jett.
He is survived by his wife, Leyno Stephenson of Kingsport; a niece, Bessa Keys, and great-nephew, Stephen Keys, both of North Highlands, CA; and several cousins.
Friends may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with The Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 12:00 noon at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rod Davis, Glen Rhoten, Allen Rhoten, Brian Doran, and Buster Brown.
