Rebecca "Becky" Hensley
Becky Hensley, 66, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully with her family next to her on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her residence. Becky was a kind and loving person who would help anyone she could. She especially loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelia and Samuel Newman.
Becky is survived by her husband, of 47 years, Ronald Hensley; daughters, Teresa Smith and husband, George, and Tammy Espinosa and husband, Frank; son, Lance Hensley and wife, Brittany; five grandchildren, Jesse Espinosa, Jacy Smith, Sophia Hensley, Adrian Grajales and Michael Smith; sisters, Debbie Huggins, Pamela Espinosa, Susan Davis, Cheryl Smith and Jodi Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 9th, from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the United Way of Greater Kingsport, 301 Louis St., #201, Kingsport, TN 37660, or to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Mountain States Hospice and Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH and the Convalarium of Dublin, Ohio.
