Remel C. Poe
Remel C. Poe, 84, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 26, 2010, at Brookhaven Manor following a lengthy illness. She was born in Greene County and had resided in Kingsport most of her life, where she retired from Eastman Kodak following 40 years of service. She was a member of First Christian Church, and Moose Lodge #972 of Kingsport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Poe; parents, Rome and Vida Crumley; a sister, Marcella Starnes; and brothers, Doyle Crumley and Raymond Crumley.
She is survived by a sister, Margie Lee Montieth, of Kingsport, and several nieces and nephews.
Entombment services will be conducted on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Mausoleum, with Minister Phillip Sams officiating.
