Rex Allen Penley

Rex A. Penley, 51, of the Harmony Community, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 21, 2011. He was a loving husband, father and brother who would help anyone in need.

The family would like to thank God for the 51 years He gave us with Rex. Also, all of our family and friends for all they have done throughout this year for Rex and his family, and to Enterprise Trucking for all they have done.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Penley, and infant brother, Carson Penley.

Rex is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kathy Penley; two sons, Rickey Penley and Harlan Penley; mother, Hazel Light Penley; sister, Brenda Little and husband, Walter; niece, Marie Little; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many close friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 5-7:00 pm at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church or anytime at Rex's home or the home of his mother. Services will follow at 7:00 with Rev. Darin Harrison and Evangelist Rick Bowser and Evangelist Wesley Flannery officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, December 24 at 11:00 at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne King, Junior Light, Junior Necessary, Ronnie Rines, Danny Dykes, Randle Little, Mike Spears and David Lucas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Chase, G.N. Harrison, Guy Barron, Fred Necessary, Tim Necessary and employees of Enterprise and friends.
