Rhoda M. Gray, 86, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, July 18th. She was born in Northfield, New Jersey, the daughter of Stanley Lovett and Erma Brower Lovett.

She was a member of the Graduating Class of 1946 at Woodstown (New Jersey) High School, trained as a lab technician, and worked in several hospitals throughout southern New Jersey.

Mrs. Gray is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Joe Mirasola of West Chester, Pennsylvania; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Micki Mossbrucker of Richland, Washington; and her beloved sister, Willa Cwik of Kingsport, Tennessee.

Her grandchildren are Pamela Mossbrucker and Michelle Mossbrucker; and her great-grandson is Maddox Hawke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gray is predeceased by her husband, Jack Gray, with whom she was instrumental in organizing the South Jersey Locksmiths Association, which continues to flourish today. She is also predeceased by son, Marty Mossbrucker; and older sister and brother, Dorothy Fisler and Stanley Lovett.

Rhoda was a member of the Sweet Adelines, a female barbershop singing organization, for over thirty years, and has sung in church choirs throughout her life. Most recently, she sang with the Sounds of Joy Choir at First Broad Street United Methodist Church, where she has been a member since moving to Kingsport in 2008.

Rhoda, known by many as "Cookie", will be missed for her quick wit, her friendly sense of humor, and her unfailing willingness to help anyone in need.
