Rhonda Ramey

Rhonda Faye Thompson Ramey, 44, Blountville, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at her home. Born in Kingsport, she lived in Beech Creek most of her life, moving to the Blountville area 8 years ago. She was a loving mother and a loving grandmother of three.

She is survived by the father of her son, Melvin Linebaugh; son, Jonathan Thompson and girlfriend, Sandy Thompson of Blountville; daughter, Stacie Hall and husband, Darrell of Rogersville; stepson, Matthew Linebaugh of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Bryson Hall, Tanner Thompson and Aiden Hall; mother, Ruth Thompson of Kingsport; three sisters, Darlene Dykes of Hawkins County, Diane Powers of Erwin, and Donna Weaver of Kingsport; brother, Chad Thompson of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Pauline Swecker Gross of Blountville.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, from 12-2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm. at the funeral home with Chris Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
