Rhonda Gail Skeens

Rhonda Gail Skeens, 53, of Surgoinsville, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, August 3, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. Rhonda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Duncan, and her brother, Dennis Duncan.

Rhonda is survived by her husband of 36 years, Roy Skeens, Jr.; daughter, Julie Wallace and husband, Bobby; son, Travis Skeens and wife, Tonya; four grandchildren, Israel and Reece Wallace, Gabrielle and Sierra Skeens; mother, Janie McCloud; brother, Larry Duncan and wife, Jill; sisters, Janice Gilliam and husband, Leon, Lisa McCloud and husband, Tommy, Judy Godsey and Mary Tittle; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family wishes to express thanks to all of her friends and family for their loving support.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Kyle Falin officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Church Hill Memory Gardens with the family and friends serving as pallbearers.
